When it comes to comfort food, this baked macaroni with four types of cheese takes the crown. A blend of creamy gorgonzola, tangy sour cream, gooey mozzarella, and rich Gouda makes this dish irresistibly cheesy and satisfying. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 ounces grated Gouda cheese
  • 3 ounces grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Cook the macaroni in salted, oiled water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat and add the gorgonzola cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and add the macaroni. Stir for a few minutes to heat through, then pour in the gorgonzola cream mixture. Stir to coat the pasta evenly. Season with salt and pepper.

Grease a baking dish and layer half the macaroni mixture in the dish. Spread sour cream evenly over this layer. Add the remaining macaroni, then sprinkle the Gouda, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses over the top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 475°F (245°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
