White Meat with Vegetables, is a wonderfully simple yet delicious meal that brings out rich flavors with minimal ingredients.. It’s easy to make, yet tastes as if it’s been simmering all day—a delightful choice when you want something both quick and nourishing.
Ingredients Needed:
600 g sliced sauerkraut
1 onion
400 g chicken breast
50 g smoked bacon
4 tablespoons oil
300 g frozen peas
2 potatoes
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
2 teaspoons paprika
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon dried vegetable seasoning
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Preparation
In heated oil, sauté the onion sliced into thin rings, followed by the bacon slices and diced chicken breast. Sauté for about five minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat. Add paprika, sauerkraut, and the dried vegetable seasoning, and mix well. Add water until just covered, then continue cooking on low heat for about an hour. Fifteen minutes before the end, add peas and diced potatoes. Once everything is tender, mix in the caraway seeds, crushed garlic, and cornstarch dissolved in a little water.
