Soft, savory, and golden, these rolls are perfect for a snack, breakfast, or light lunch. The fluffy dough wraps a creamy, cheesy filling, making each bite a little indulgence you can enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Ingredients

Dough:

Filling:

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • A pinch of black pepper

Glaze:

  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions:

Bake 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cool slightly before serving.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a small bowl, combine feta, basil, yogurt, honey, and black pepper until creamy.

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs and avocado oil, then stir in the yogurt. Knead into a soft, pliable dough.

Divide dough into small pieces, rolling each into a thin circle about ¼ inch thick.

Place a spoonful of filling onto each circle. Fold or roll to seal, forming compact rolls.

Brush the tops with egg yolk for a golden finish.
