Ingredients
Dough:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons avocado oil (or olive oil)
Filling:
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- A pinch of black pepper
Glaze:
- 1 egg yolk
Instructions:
Bake 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, combine feta, basil, yogurt, honey, and black pepper until creamy.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs and avocado oil, then stir in the yogurt. Knead into a soft, pliable dough.
Divide dough into small pieces, rolling each into a thin circle about ¼ inch thick.
Place a spoonful of filling onto each circle. Fold or roll to seal, forming compact rolls.
Brush the tops with egg yolk for a golden finish.
