Ingredients:
14 oz pears (about 3 medium pears), peeled
1 2/3 cups sugar syrup (simple syrup made with sugar and water)
1 small glass (about 2 oz) maraschino liqueur
Juice of half a lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
Preparation:
Peel the pears and pour the maraschino liqueur over them. Place the pears in ⅓ cup of the sugar syrup and let them soak for 1 hour. Then puree the pears thoroughly. Mix the puree with the remaining sugar syrup and lemon juice. Beat everything well using a mixer until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into containers suitable for freezing.
