Nestlé Cake & Sweet Cake are two delightful desserts that bring rich flavors and satisfying textures to the table.
Nestlé Cake Recipe (for a 26 cm round pan)
Ingredients for the crust:
- 3 egg whites
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of chopped walnuts
- 50 grams of chopped dried figs mixed with 1 tablespoon of flour (this prevents the figs from sticking together)
Bake 4 of these crusts.
Ingredients for the filling:
- 12 egg yolks, well beaten with 12 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 vanilla pudding packages
- 0.5 liters of milk
- 200 grams of white Nestlé chocolate
Mix the egg yolks with sugar, then add the vanilla pudding and milk. Stir well and cook over steam. Once cooked, add the white chocolate and mix until melted. Let the mixture cool completely.
In another bowl, beat 400 grams of margarine (preferably a mix of half margarine and half butter). Add the pudding mixture tablespoon by tablespoon, mixing well until fluffy. Finally, add 200 grams of ground hazelnuts.
Layer the crusts and spread melted chocolate (150 grams of chocolate melted with 50 grams of margarine) on three of the four crusts. Allow the chocolate to set well before filling. The last crust should not have chocolate, just the filling. Spread the filling around the sides as well.
It’s best to prepare the cake the day before to allow the filling to set properly on the chocolate.
Sweet Cake
Ingredients:
- 600 grams of vegan whipped cream
- 2 margarine blocks
- 1 liter of thick strawberry juice
- 4 packages of strawberry pudding
- 300 grams of vegan chocolate
- 1 kg of vegan cookies
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan. In half of the juice, cook the 4 packages of strawberry pudding. Once cooled, add the 2 beaten margarine blocks. Whip the cream with water and gradually mix it into the strawberry pudding mixture. Continue to mix until well combined. In the other half of the heated juice, dip the cookies and place them on a plate. Coat the cookies with the melted chocolate, then add the whipped cream and pudding mixture (approximately 0.5–1 cm thick). Repeat the process until all ingredients are used. Finish with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Note: This cake is large, so you can use half the recipe if desired.
