Garlic Steak and Seasoned Potatoes Recipe Ingredients:
For the Garlic Steak:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick),
4 cloves garlic, minced,
2 tablespoons olive oil,
1 tablespoon butter,
Salt and pepper to taste,
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish).
For the Seasoned Potatoes:
4 medium potatoes, diced (russet or Yukon Gold),
2 tablespoons olive oil,
1 teaspoon garlic powder,
1 teaspoon paprika,
½ teaspoon dried oregano,
Salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Potatoes.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, toss the diced potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
While the potatoes are roasting, season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the steaks.
Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and butter to the skillet. Tilt the pan to let the butter and garlic pool on one side, and use a spoon to baste the steaks with the melted butter and garlic.
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Serve the garlic steak alongside the seasoned potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Enjoy your delicious Garlic Steak and Seasoned Potatoes!
