Cake with Black Coffee is a rich and flavorful dessert, perfect for coffee lovers. The cake layers are made with a buttery batter, creating a soft and light texture.
Ingredients:
- 8 eggs
- 140 g butter
- 140 g powdered sugar
- 140 g cooking chocolate
- 140 g flour (plus extra for dusting)
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee
- 0.5 dl oil
- 3 dl whipping cream
Preparation:
Mix 140 g of butter with 70 g of powdered sugar, add 70 g of softened chocolate, and mix everything well until smooth. Combine four egg yolks with 140 g of flour, and at the end, gently fold in the beaten egg whites from 4 eggs. Grease a rectangular baking pan with oil, dust it with flour, pour in one ladle of batter, and bake at 180°C until it turns golden brown. Repeat the process to bake 6 cake layers.
Filling:
Cook 4 egg yolks, 70 g of powdered sugar, 70 g of grated chocolate, and 2 tablespoons of coffee over a double boiler. Once the mixture becomes creamy, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Add the whipped cream to the cooled mixture.
Spread the filling over each cake layer, stacking them one on top of the other. Use the remaining cream to coat the entire cake.
