This easy homemade tiramisu recipe is a classic Italian dessert made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, rich mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese (about 8.8 oz / 250 g)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 packs ladyfinger cookies (about 48 pieces)
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 2–3 tbsp rum (optional)
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Beat the egg yolks with powdered sugar until thick and pale.
- Add mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
