Our favorite dish is Seasoned Mashed Potatoes.

I cook it cut into cubes and steamed over salted water. Then I mash it, add a little salt, butter, a teaspoon of sour cream and a little milk. I take this side dish with sauces, spinach and similar dishes that are not too dry. If I only have roast meat (pork or turkey steak), then I season it a little.

For Seasoned Mashed Potatoes the ingredients are: one kilogram of potatoes cut into cubes, 1 deciliter of milk, a little sour cream, 3 tablespoons of butter, 15 grams of finely chopped chives, 10 grams of finely chopped parsley, and salt and pepper.

First, boil the potatoes, drain them and place them in a large container. Add the remaining ingredients and make mashed potatoes.

As a side dish, I often make potatoes on onions. It’s very simple.

I saute the onion in a little oil and when it becomes glassy, I put the potatoes on it that I peeled, cut into quarters, and then into small slices. Add salt, add a little red pepper powder. Lightly cover with water while it is stewing. When the water evaporates and the potatoes are soft, the side dish is ready.

A dish that is also among our top 5 homemade dishes is roasted potatoes.

You need 3 large potatoes, 2 onions, oil, soy sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, basil, marjoram.

Boil the potatoes in their skins and cut them into slices (or peel and cut them before cooking, it is done faster, but the nutrients are lost). Cut the onion into half moons and fry in oil until soft. Add the potatoes and spices and mix so that the potatoes are partially mashed. Serve with sauce or as a side dish.
