Peaches and Cream Dessert Ingredient:

1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened sliced peaches,
18 vanilla wafers,
1 1 1/4 ounce envelope dessert topping mix,
1/2 cup orange juice,
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg,
shredded orange peel (optional).

DIRECTIONS

Thaw peaches, if frozen. Line six dessert dishes, using 3 vanilla wafers for each dish. Prepare dessert topping mix according to package directions, except use the orange juice instead of the milk. Drain and chop peaches coarsely. Fold peaches and nutmeg into the whipped topping. Spoon peach mixture into the cookie-lined dessert dishes. Cover and chill. If desired, garnish each serving with shredded orange peel.
