Original Sin Bars are a rich no-bake treat with a modern twist — smooth almond butter, sweet honey, and a layer of velvety dark chocolate. Simple to make, yet dangerously delicious, they’re the kind of dessert that disappears before you know it. Perfect for cozy weekends or to impress your guests with something homemade and irresistible.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups almond butter (or creamy peanut butter)

1/2 cup melted coconut oil or unsalted butter

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

1 cup finely ground oat flour or graham crumbs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)

1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil for melting

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, melted coconut oil, honey, vanilla, and salt. Stir until creamy and smooth.
  2. Add oat flour or graham crumbs and mix well until thick and evenly blended.
  3. Press the mixture into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with butter or coconut oil over low heat or in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate over the base and spread evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until firm.
  7. Slice into squares or bars and serve cold.

Tip: For an extra crunch, sprinkle crushed roasted almonds or flaky sea salt on top before chilling.
