Tart with lemon and lime is very famous because of its refreshing and tangy flavor. It’s a perfect dessert for summer days or special occasions, especially when served with fresh raspberries or your favorite fruit.
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 250 g butter
- 200 g powdered sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 500 g flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons cold milk
For the filling:
- 340 g sugar
- 4 fresh eggs
- 350 ml cream
- 200 ml lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
Preparation:
Knead the dough using 250 g butter, 200 g powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, 500 g flour, 4 egg yolks, and 4 tablespoons of cold milk. Pre-bake the crust halfway.
Whisk the eggs and sugar, then add the cream, lime juice, and grated lime zest. Pour the filling into the crust and return it to the oven. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes, or until the filling sets.
After about an hour, dust with powdered sugar and allow the tart to cool completely for the cream to set. Serve with fresh raspberries or other fruit of choice.
