Easy Homemade Vegan Burger with Chickpeas and Fresh Herbs Ingredients:

4 teaspoons of flax seeds,
12 tablespoons of water (or vegetable stock),
Can of chickpeas, dry and rinse (500+ milliliters),
Half a teaspoon of salt,
Half a teaspoon of black pepper,
Fresh herbs – basil, dill…
1 onion, chopped,
Grated peel of one small orange,
100 grams of spinach, dandelion or arugula,
100 grams of fried larger breadcrumbs,
1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Mix the water with the flax seeds until you get a gelatinous mixture.
Then mix this mixture with chickpeas, salt and pepper in a blender until you get a creamy mixture.

Place in a bowl and add onions, herbs and green vegetables, mix gently and add breadcrumbs. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes.

You now have a mixture that is easy to shape into hamburgers 2.5 centimeters thick. If the mass is too dry, add a little water. If it is too gooey, add breadcrumbs.
Take a thicker pan, add oil to heat it up well. Place the burgers, cover and fry them over low heat for up to seven minutes or until the bottom starts to turn golden or brown, then turn to the other side.

If you want to grill them, coat both sides with olive oil and grill for 4 minutes on each side.
