Tuna salad combines crunchy green beans, juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and flaky tuna for a satisfying and healthy meal. It’s quick to make, light, and absolutely delicious
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds green beans
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- Lettuce (a few handfuls or about 4 cups chopped)
- 5 oz canned tuna (drained)
- 7 oz mozzarella cheese (about 1 cup, diced)
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- A pinch of dried dill
Preparation:
Cut the green beans into small pieces and cook them until tender. Once done, rinse with cold water and drain.
Wash and slice the bell peppers and lettuce. Dice the mozzarella.
In a large bowl, combine the green beans, peppers, lettuce, tuna, and mozzarella. Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and add them to the bowl.
Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of dried dill. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving.
