Stuffed mushrooms are a timeless appetizer that brings together rich flavors and satisfying textures in every bite. These tender mushroom caps are filled with a delicious blend of sautéed garlic, onions, walnuts, and Parmesan cheese, creating a savory, nutty, and slightly crispy topping.
Ingredients:
- 18 large mushrooms
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, black pepper, and paprika (to taste)
- A little breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (180°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems.
- Sauté the chopped stems with onion, garlic, and walnuts in a pan for 4-5 minutes until fragrant and tender.
- Remove from heat and mix in the Parmesan, salt, pepper, paprika, and a bit of breadcrumbs.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and tender.
