Stuffed mushrooms are a timeless appetizer that brings together rich flavors and satisfying textures in every bite. These tender mushroom caps are filled with a delicious blend of sautéed garlic, onions, walnuts, and Parmesan cheese, creating a savory, nutty, and slightly crispy topping.

Ingredients:

  • 18 large mushrooms
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, black pepper, and paprika (to taste)
  • A little breadcrumbs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (180°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems.
  3. Sauté the chopped stems with onion, garlic, and walnuts in a pan for 4-5 minutes until fragrant and tender.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the Parmesan, salt, pepper, paprika, and a bit of breadcrumbs.
  5. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and tender.
