Regardless of the fact that pizza has almost countless variations, the recipe inspired by the cult oil on canvas The Starry Night by the famous Vincent van Gogh, painted in 1889 is timeless masterpiece. So it would only be natural combine the two, because experiencing every bite come into contact with the palate awakens all the senses. Even those who are not particularly skilled when it comes to drawing or painting can create a real small masterpiece with simple moves in the kitchen.

Starry Night Pizza ingredients:

one pizza crust, you can use ready-made or make dough.

For the topping:

1/2 cup tomato sauce,

1 tablespoon of olive oil,

1 clove of garlic,

salt and pepper to taste.


To fill the pizza:

1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese,

2-3 sheets of cheddar cheese,

1/4 cup red peppers,

1/4 cup yellow peppers,

1/4 of green peppers,

1/4 cup red onion,

1/4 cup black olives,

1/4 cup tomatoes.

Preparation

Prepare the pizza dough or use a ready-made pizza crust according to the instructions on the package. Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add finely chopped garlic and fry briefly, then add tomato sauce and mix. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread the sauce evenly over the crust, then sprinkle the grated mozzarella, leaving the edge of the crust without the cheese to make a night sky.

Arrange chopped black olives, tomato rings on top to simulate stars in the starry sky. Add cheddar cheese in the form of small circles, red, green and yellow peppers cut into strips and red onions to create the effect of planets and meteors. Bake the pizza until the dough turns golden brown and the cheese melts, remove from the oven and serve your own masterpiece.
