These soft and sweet crescent rolls are filled with creamy Nutella and perfect for breakfast, dessert, or snacking. Fluffy layers and a rich chocolate-hazelnut center make them irresistible.
Ingredients:
About 8 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups warm milk
2 small espresso cups oil (about ½ cup total)
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons sugar
1 packet active dry yeast
2 egg yolks
Nutella (softened slightly)
1 egg white (for brushing)
Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, oil, salt, sugar, yeast, and egg yolks. Gradually add flour to form a soft, medium dough. Let it rest until doubled in size.
Divide dough into 6 equal balls. Let them rest briefly.
Slightly warm the Nutella by placing the jar in a bowl of warm water, making it easier to spread thinly.
Roll out one dough ball and spread a thin layer of Nutella.
Roll out a second dough ball, place it over the first, and spread with Nutella again. Cover with a third rolled-out dough layer.
Roll the layered dough slightly more with a rolling pin, cut into triangles, and roll into crescent shapes.
Repeat the process with the remaining 3 dough balls.
Place crescents on a baking sheet, brush with egg white, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
