I tried this recipe and it turns out much juicier than when it is made in the classic way.
Meat Pie With Yogurt Ingredients:
500 g of mixed minced meat,
a large head of onion or two smaller ones,
100 ml of oil,
1 tablespoon of dry spice,
half a teaspoon of salt,
half a teaspoon of pepper,
1 tablespoon of dried parsley leaves,
4 eggs,
200 ml of yogurt,
400 ml of water,
500 grams of Phyllo Pie Crust
Preparation:
Finely chop the onion, add oil and a few tablespoons of water, sauté the onion, and then fry it a little on medium heat. Add the meat and 200 ml of water and simmer everything together until the excess water evaporates. While stewing, add dry spices, pepper and parsley.
Specially prepare the mixture for pouring over the pie: Beat eggs with salt, then add yogurt and water and mix everything and beat a little.
Grease the baking tray, put 3 crusts on the bottom, then a little meat everywhere. Arrange the three crusts again, then the meat, until you finish. Pour a little oil between each crust. Cut the pie with a sharp knife, then cover it with the pouring mixture that you whipped up earlier. Shake the pan from left to right so that the mixture gets a little everywhere.
Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees Celsius, and during that time leave the pie to absorb the filling mixture.
Bake until light brown, between 30 and 40 minutes. Coat the baked pie with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of water and 2 tablespoons of oil, then leave to cool. Slice the pie again and serve.
