Lemonade Squares are a refreshing and delicious treat, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 200 grams of sugar
- Grated orange zest
- 1/8 liter of oil
- 1/8 liter of sparkling orange juice
- 200 grams of sifted flour
Jelly:
- 3/8 liter of sparkling orange juice
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 packets of colorless gelatin
Cream:
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 150 grams of powdered sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2 packets of whipped cream stabilizer
Preparation:
Whisk the eggs, sugar, and orange zest until fluffy, then carefully add the oil and orange juice. Add the flour and mix everything together. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25 minutes.
Prepare the jelly according to the instructions on the packet. While still warm, pour it over the aluminum foil and allow it to cool before cutting into squares.
For the cream, briefly whisk the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Whip the heavy cream with the stabilizer according to the instructions on the packet, then gently combine with the sour cream mixture. Carefully add half of the jelly squares.
Spread the filling evenly on the base and decorate with the remaining jelly squares. Let it sit for 2 hours in a cool place, then cut into squares as desired and serve.
