Hazelnut Delight Bars are a perfect balance of rich, nutty flavor and creamy texture. These bars feature a golden, soft crust made with roasted hazelnuts, topped with smooth whipped cream and a sprinkle of more hazelnuts for added crunch. Ideal for holiday gatherings or a cozy afternoon treat, these bars bring warmth and indulgence to any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups (280g) sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups roasted ground hazelnuts
  • A splash of milk
  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) whipped cream
  • 3 packets (3 oz) cream fix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Beat the eggs and sugar together with a mixer until fluffy. Gradually add the flour and ground hazelnuts, leaving a portion of the hazelnuts to sprinkle later.
  3. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little milk and mix to achieve a thick dough. Spread the dough into a square pan lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden.
  5. Once the base is cooled, whip the cream with the cream fix. Spread the whipped cream mixture evenly over the cooled base.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining ground hazelnuts on top, then refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours before serving.
