Halloween Cocoa Ghost Pancakes –
Ingredients: For the Pancakes:

1 cup all-purpose flour,
1/4 cup cocoa powder,
2 tablespoons sugar,
1 tablespoon baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1 cup milk (or a non-dairy alternative),
1 large egg,
2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil),
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

For the Ghost Topping:

Whipped cream (or coconut whipped cream for a vegan option)
Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.

Pour 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the hot skillet for each pancake.Bake until you see bubbles forming on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and bake for an additional minute or until fully baked and slightly firm to the touch. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Assemble the Ghosts:
Stack the pancakes into a tower for each serving. Top generously with whipped cream, forming ghostly shapes by mounding it on the pancakes.

Add the Eyes:
Place two mini chocolate chips on the whipped cream to create eyes for each ghost.

Serve:
Enjoy your Halloween Cocoa Ghost Pancakes warm, with a drizzle of chocolate syrup or a sprinkle of powdered sugar for an extra festive touch!

This whimsical dish adds a spooky flair to breakfast and is sure to delight kids and adults alike. Enjoy this seasonal treat!
