Crunchy seed crackers made with a simple mix of beer, oil, and a variety of seeds. These savory bites are perfect for snacking anytime, whether you’re at home or hosting friends.
Ingredients:
- 5 cups all-purpose flour (about 600 g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup beer (200 ml)
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil (200 ml)
- 1 cup vegan margarine (about 225 g), melted
- 1 1/4 cups mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, sesame, sunflower seeds, peanuts, etc.) – about 250 g
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Add the beer, oil, and melted margarine, and mix well until a soft dough forms.
Fold in the mixed seeds and knead gently until the seeds are evenly distributed.
Shape the dough into small pieces and bake using a waffle iron press (optional). You can also roll out and cut the dough, then bake on a parchment-lined tray at 375°F (190°C) until golden.
