This is a simple and tasty homemade syrup made from dried apricots. It’s a great topping for pancakes, adding a natural sweetness and fruity flavor.
Ingredients:
- 5.3 oz dried apricots
- 2 cups water
nstructions:
Place the apricots in water (not the 2 cups of water) and let them soak for about 30 minutes until softened. Drain them well, then put them in a blender. Gradually add the 2 cups of water, blending until the apricots turn into a smooth puree.
(You can add more water if you prefer a thinner syrup.)
Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
