Walnut bars ingredients:

150 grams of ground walnuts,
100 grams of raisins,
100 grams of sugar,
2 eggs

Preparation

First, beat the eggs with sugar (not too much, just until it is grainy), add walnuts and grapes, mix well, knead, pour into a greased and floured baking tray, spread to about 1.5 cm (you don’t have to measure, but what the thinner the bar, the smaller it is…).
Bake at about 180 degrees Celsius for about fifteen (maybe a little longer, depending on the thickness of the dough) minutes.
Beat one egg white with powdered sugar. Add sugar until it becomes a thick white mass. When the dough is baked, pour the glaze while it’s still warm (not hot, warm!), wait a few minutes for it to harden (if it cools too much, the glaze cracks, too little – it leaks, which, in my opinion, is a minor problem…). Cut the bars and return to the warm oven to dry the glaze.
