“Let’s remember what we are called to do as Christians. Let’s leave all complaints, all divisions and show this world that we are united in Christ and not in our human needs.
We must be leaven in this world, to really become the salt of the earth and the light of the world, not just in your dreams. This is not some kind of ideal, this is a living life that we have to live every day so that it does not become cluttered, empty and unnecessary”, Georgij Kočetkov.
The Joy of Christmas
All over the world, people celebrate Christmas and plan to spend this holiday with their loved ones. Christmas is one of the main Christian holidays in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Catholics celebrate it on December 25th, and Orthodox Christians celebrate it on January 7th.
It is a time of joy and giving, full of diverse traditions from all over the world. Christmas is a warm holiday, where we all, like children, wait for a miracle. And this is evidenced by many who had a story of their own that happened at Christmas time. My family and I have the most wonderful memories at Christmas that will remain forever. Time has shown me that you should always hope and believe in His help and never doubt it. Dreams and hopes always come true at Christmas, a holy holiday full of miracles that happen to us on that day.
Silent Night, Holy Night
Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright
’round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar,
heav’nly hosts sing, “Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born!”
Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, love’s pure light
radiant beams from Thy holy face
with the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth!
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth!
Silent night! Holy night!
Wondrous star, lend thy light;
with the angels let us sing
“Alleluia” to our King:
“Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born.”
