Ingredients:
Assorted peppers
Green tomatoes
Cauliflower
Carrots
34 fl oz vinegar (about 4 1/4 cups)
12 3/4 cups water
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup salt
1 packet preservative
1 packet sodium benzoate
Instructions:
Wash the vegetables thoroughly, trim the stems, and layer them alternately in a barrel, bucket, or jars. Combine all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir until completely dissolved. Pour the cold, uncooked mixture over the layered vegetables. Ensure the vegetables are fully submerged in the liquid. Prepare enough brine to fill the container completely.
