Cool, fruity, and with just the right kick—this watermelon margarita with a tropical twist is your new go-to summer cocktail. Ideal for warm evenings or casual get-togethers, it’s the perfect way to chill out and impress your friends.

Ingredients (Makes 2 servings):

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen overnight
  • 1/2 cup silver tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec (or orange liqueur)
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 2–3 limes)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 lime wheels, for garnish
  • Optional: splash of coconut water or pineapple juice for a tropical twist
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Coarse sea salt (for rimming the glasses)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rims of two margarita glasses. Dip each rim in coarse sea salt. Set aside.
  2. Blend the Drink: In a blender, combine frozen watermelon, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, honey, ice, and an optional splash of coconut water or pineapple juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint if using.
