Mozart Chocolate Balls are delicious, chocolatey treats with a rich, smooth texture. Made with cocoa, butter, and chocolate, then coated in creamy milk chocolate, they are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 3 ½ tbsp (50 g) butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp (25 g) powdered sugar
- ⅔ cup (85 g) cocoa powder
- 1 cup (175 g) grated dark chocolate
- 1 cup (175 g) milk chocolate
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter with powdered sugar. Add cocoa powder and grated dark chocolate, then mix until well combined.
- Form small balls from the mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- For the coating, melt the milk chocolate over a double boiler.
- Using toothpicks, dip each chocolate ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Return the coated balls to the baking sheet and carefully remove the toothpicks.
- Refrigerate for another 30 minutes until the chocolate sets.
- Serve in paper cups or wrap them individually in cellophane.
