Ingredients:
- 2.2 lbs green tomatoes
- 2.2 lbs unpeeled cucumbers
- 2.2 lbs bell peppers
- 8 cups (2 quarts) 3% vinegar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 7 oz sugar
- 7 oz salt
- 1 oz whole black peppercorns
Instructions:
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Slice the tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers into rounds or bite-sized pieces.
- In a large pot, combine the vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, and peppercorns. Heat over medium until it reaches a gentle boil.
