Ingredients:
- 5 oz cheese, crumbled
- 3 large eggs
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 10 oz thinner phyllo dough
- 3 ½ oz ham, sliced or chopped
Instructions:
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add the yogurt, milk, oil, and baking powder. Mix everything together with a whisk.
- Crumble the cheese into larger pieces and cut the ham into strips.
- Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface, brush it with the egg mixture, and place another sheet on top. Brush the second sheet with more egg mixture.
- At the bottom of the dough, sprinkle some cheese and top it with a bit of ham.
- Roll the dough into a cylinder about 3 inches wide. Brush the rolled pastry with the egg mixture. Fold the ends in three times, like a package.
- Arrange the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the remaining egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
