Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a party appetizer, these pastries are sure to be a hit with everyone. Here’s how to make them in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz cheese, crumbled
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 10 oz thinner phyllo dough
  • 3 ½ oz ham, sliced or chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add the yogurt, milk, oil, and baking powder. Mix everything together with a whisk.
  2. Crumble the cheese into larger pieces and cut the ham into strips.
  3. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface, brush it with the egg mixture, and place another sheet on top. Brush the second sheet with more egg mixture.
  4. At the bottom of the dough, sprinkle some cheese and top it with a bit of ham.
  5. Roll the dough into a cylinder about 3 inches wide. Brush the rolled pastry with the egg mixture. Fold the ends in three times, like a package.
  6. Arrange the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the remaining egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
