I recently made a quick and delicious cake that came together in just half an hour. Admittedly, there were quite a few of us at home, and everyone devoured at least two pieces, though we could have easily eaten more—there was barely a slice left!
Frozen Cake for Winter Days
Ingredients:
- 4 egg yolks
- 250 grams of margarine
- 250 grams of powdered sugar
- 250 grams of chopped walnuts
- 250 grams of raisins
- 250 grams of jelly candies
- 400 grams of Petit Beurre cookies
- A little milk
- Vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
- 200 grams of cooking chocolate
Instructions:
- Beat the margarine with the powdered sugar until well combined.
- Add the egg yolks, followed by the chopped walnuts and jelly candies.
- For the raisins, soak them in warm water for about 20 minutes with the vanilla extract or vanilla sugar before adding them to the mixture.
- Once everything is well mixed, crumble the Petit Beurre cookies into smaller pieces and fold them into the batter.
- Finally, add the melted chocolate, mixing well. Make sure to use a large bowl, as the mixture can be quite thick. If needed, add a little milk (approximately half a small cup) to help combine everything smoothly.
- Transfer the mixture to a cake pan, decorate as desired with whipped cream, chocolate, or jelly candies (like I did), and let it chill overnight. And that’s it!
