Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat (your choice)
- 1 slice of bread, soaked in milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry spices (paprika, oregano, or your preference)
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lb young carrots
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Extra mustard for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C).
- Cube the bread slice and soak it in milk until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, soaked bread, onion, 1 clove of minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, dry spices, mustard, and parsley. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Cover the mixture and let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, mix again and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf on a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour or until fully cooked through.
- While the meat roll is baking, boil the carrots in water until tender but not overcooked. Drain and cut into rings.
- Toss the carrots with oil, mustard, the remaining minced garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
