Recipe by: Connie Rines
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup very warm milk
- ¼ cup very warm water
- 1 package dry yeast granules
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2½ cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Melt the butter in the warm milk and water. In a large bowl, use a mixer to combine the liquids, 1½ cups of flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and eggs. Beat for 3 minutes, then stir in the remaining ingredients by hand. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 60 minutes.
Generously grease the sides and bottom of a loaf pan. Stir down the dough and spoon it into the pan. There is no need to let the dough rise again. Bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until the loaf is golden brown. Remove the bread from the pan immediately and let it cool.
This bread is soft, cheesy, and perfect for any meal!
