Ingredients:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

10 tablespoons sugar

2 packets vanilla sugar

10 tablespoons softened butter or margarine

1 egg

Pinch of salt

Food coloring (optional)

Glaze (powdered sugar + lemon juice)

Instructions

Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy.

Add the flour and egg, and knead until soft dough forms.

Refrigerate the dough for a few hours to firm it up.

Roll it out and cut out wreath shapes.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.

Brush cookies with glaze, then decorate with food coloring or sprinkles.
