Discover the secret to perfectly crispy, golden beer-battered chicken cutlets! Easy to make at home, flavorful, and irresistibly crunchy. Perfect for lunch or dinner
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken cutlets
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
3/4 cup lager beer
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Preparation:
Lightly pound the chicken cutlets with a meat mallet until evenly thin. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, and beer until smooth. The batter should have a consistency similar to pancake batter. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Dip each chicken cutlet into the beer batter, letting any excess drip off, then carefully place it in the hot oil.
Fry for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
