Ingredients
1 ripe avocado, diced
½ small red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest (only the yellow part)
⅓ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onion
1 small celery stalk, finely diced (optional for crunch)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocado and red onion.
Add the lemon juice and zest, and gently toss to coat.
Stir in sour cream, mayonnaise (if using), chopped parsley, chives, and celery.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
