When summer’s in full swing, your usual steaming cup of coffee might not feel as inviting. But don’t worry – you don’t have to give up your caffeine fix! From creamy frappés to chilled milkshakes and icy Greek coffee, these easy recipes will keep you refreshed and energized all summer long. The best part? You can make them all at home with just a few simple ingredients.

Refreshing Coffee Frappé

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 1 cup (8 fl oz) freshly brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons crushed ice
  • 1 tablespoon grated chocolate
  • ¼ cup (2 fl oz) coffee liqueur
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup (4 fl oz) cold milk

Instructions:
In a blender, combine crushed ice, cold milk, and freshly brewed coffee. Blend for about 10 seconds until smooth. Add vanilla extract, cocoa powder, or cinnamon if desired. Pour into a tall glass and top with grated chocolate. For a stronger flavor, add more liqueur or an extra shot of espresso.


Classic Iced Coffee

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup (6 fl oz) cold milk
  • 1 scoop ice cream
  • Crushed ice
  • Grated chocolate for garnish

Instructions:
Blend instant coffee, sugar, cocoa powder, cold milk, and ice cream until smooth. Add crushed ice, pour into a tall glass, and garnish with grated chocolate.


Creamy Coffee Milkshake

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ¾ cup (6 fl oz) cold milk
  • Crushed ice

Instructions:
Dissolve instant coffee in a little warm water for a richer taste. In a blender or shaker, mix with sugar, cold milk, and crushed ice until frothy. Serve in a tall glass. For a decadent twist, top with whipped cream or add a scoop of ice cream.


Greek Frappé (White)

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2–3 teaspoons cold water (about 0.5 fl oz)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 scoop ice cream

Instructions:
Shake instant coffee, cold water, and sugar until thick and frothy. Pour into a glass, add a scoop of ice cream, and enjoy.


Tip: All of these recipes work with both regular and decaf instant coffee. For a stronger caffeine kick, try replacing part of the milk with an extra shot of espresso.
