1/2 lb glace cherries,
1/4 lb blanched almonds,
1/2 lb whole mixed citrus peel,
1 oz angelica,
Rind and juice of 1 large lemon,
12 oz unsalted butter,
10 oz soft brown sugar,
8-9 large eggs,
8 tbsp brandy,
Almond paste,
Royal icing.
