Apple Brownie with Berries Ingredients:
200 g butter,
60 g dark cocoa powder,
5 eggs,
400 g sugar,
1 tsp vanilla extract,
125 g flour,
200 g chocolate, chopped,
20 g freeze-dried blueberries (soaked in water),
10 g freeze-dried strawberries,
powdered sugar.
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F). Prepare a 20 × 20 cm baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, melt the butter. Once fully melted, transfer it into a mixing bowl. Add the dark cocoa powder and stir with a food processor to combine. Switch to an electric mixer and beat on high speed until smooth.
Add the eggs, one by one, into the butter mixture. After adding all the eggs, continue mixing for 5 minutes to help the dough rise and become airy.
Gradually mix in the sugar and vanilla extract, then beat the mixture for another 5 minutes until fluffy.
Fold in the flour and chocolate pieces gently using a food processor until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the soaked blueberries across the top.
Bake for around 50 minutes. Use a toothpick to check for doneness—if the center is still slightly moist but the edges are firm and the top has a slight wobble, your brownies are ready. If the center is still too wet, bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Once done, let the brownies cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, remove from the pan and cut into even squares.
Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with freeze-dried strawberry pieces for a crunchy touch.
Tip: These brownies make a great treat for sharing with friends or for bringing to a picnic. Enjoy!
