Rich, satisfying, and refreshing salad—perfect as a light lunch on hot summer days! Made with fresh tomatoes, savory cheese, eggs, and a touch of mayonnaise, it’s a deliciously creamy option that’s ideal for hot summer days when you want something light but filling.

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 medium tomatoes, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 small red or yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) sharp cheese (like aged cheddar or feta), grated
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, grated
  • Mayonnaise, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
Instructions:
  1. Arrange a layer of tomato slices in a serving bowl or deep plate. Lightly sprinkle with salt.

  2. Add a layer of chopped onion over the tomatoes.

  3. Grate cheese over the onion.

  4. Grate hard-boiled eggs on top of the cheese.

  5. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise over the eggs.

  6. Repeat the layers: tomatoes, onion, cheese, eggs, and top with a final layer of mayonnaise.

  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Very filling and full of flavor—an ideal substitute for a full meal on hot days.
