This tuna pizza is quick and easy to make, featuring a thin dough topped with onions, mashed tuna, olives, and a crispy bread topping. Perfect for a light meal or dinner.
Preparation time: 40 minutes.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup water
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
½ packet baking powder (about 2 teaspoons)
1 tablespoon oil
2 onions
1 can tuna (in oil)
about ⅓ cup ketchup (100 ml)
10 olives
about 3 slices hard bread, grated
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Add the water and oil, then knead into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a round or square pizza base and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Finely chop the onions. Open the tuna and mash it with a fork in its oil. Spread ketchup over the pizza base, then layer the onions, followed by the mashed tuna. Sprinkle the grated bread on top and decorate with olives. If you don’t like onions, you can leave them out.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) until the bread topping turns golden brown, about 20 minutes. Enjoy this simple and delicious vegan pizza!
