Here is my recipe for Sacher cake, I made it once and everyone was delighted, now they say I should only make that cake…
Normally, I made it according to Dr. Oetker’s recipe, but I changed it a little.
Sacher cake ingredients:
8 eggs,
1.5 margarine or butter,
1 cooking chocolate,
100 grams of breadcrumbs,
1 vanilla sugar,
300 grams of sugar,
apricot or apricot marmalade,
2 dr Oetker chocolate toppings for cakes.
Preparation
Crust:
Beat 6 egg whites in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat 180 grams of margarine or butter, with 200 grams of sugar and one vanilla sugar, add four egg yolks, one at a time, and beat. Then add 100 grams of breadcrumbs and one melted chocolate for cooking. Combine this mass with whipped egg whites, pour into a baking mold and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes. When the crust has cooled, divide it into two crusts.
Stuffing:
Beat the remaining two egg yolks and two more whole eggs with 8 tablespoons of sugar. Add chocolate to it and steam. When it cools down, add margarine or butter and beat well.
Spread the crust with apricot jam (as much as you want) and chocolate filling, then put the second crust, spread with jam and filling. Make a chocolate topping or prepare two Dr. Oetker chocolate toppings and coat the cake. Enjoy.
