This homemade blueberry juice is a refreshing and nutritious drink that’s easy to prepare. Blueberries are rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, making this juice both tasty and beneficial for overall wellness.

Ingredients:

2.2 pounds fresh blueberries, cleaned

2.2 pounds sugar

2 teaspoons citric acid

12 ¾ cups water

Directions:

  1. Rinse blueberries thoroughly and remove any leaves or stems.
  2. Place the berries in a large non-reactive bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and citric acid, and let the mixture rest for 24 hours.
  3. Blend the blueberries until smooth.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a large pot and add the water. Heat gently for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the juice if desired, or pour directly into clean bottles.
  6. Allow to cool for 24 hours before serving. Serve chilled.
