A simple and amazing homemade remedy to support your immune system. Made from fresh eggs, lemons, honey, and cognac, it helps protect against flu and colds. Easy to prepare and best kept refrigerated.
Ingredients:
- 10 fresh eggs (room temperature, not refrigerated)
- 4.4 lbs lemons (about 8–10 lemons)
- 7 oz honey (about 1/2 cup)
- 6.7 fl oz cognac (about 2/3 cup)
Preparation:
- Drain the lemons and save the juice.
- Wash the eggs with the lemon peels from the drained lemons, rinse well.
- Place eggs in a large jar suitable for winter storage.
- Pour the lemon juice over the eggs until they are covered.
- Cover the jar with cheesecloth and store in a cool, dark place (cellar or fridge) for 24 hours, stirring several times.
- Strain the liquid first through a colander, then through cheesecloth.
- Stir in the honey and cognac until well combined.
- Keep refrigerated and consume as directed.
Usage:
Drink one small cup (about 1.7 fl oz or 50 ml) in the morning and one in the evening until the mixture is finished. This amount is enough for one adult. Wait at least 6 months before repeating the course.
