This ice cream cake with strawberries and ladyfingers can be prepared in just 15 minutes.

Ice Cream Cake with Strawberries and Ladyfingers Ingredients:

  • 500 ml heavy cream
  • 160 g sour cream
  • 10 g vanilla sugar
  • 50-100 g powdered sugar (to taste)
  • 300 g strawberries
  • 210 g ladyfingers
  • 1 package of biscuits (or 1 additional ladyfinger)

Decoration:

  • Strawberries
  • A little bit of filling

Preparation:

  1. Whip the Cream: Start by whipping 500 ml of heavy cream with vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Once the cream starts to thicken, add the sour cream and strawberries. Continue mixing with a mixer for another minute, then gently fold with a spatula.
  2. Set Aside Filling: After mixing, set aside a small portion of the filling for decoration, and divide the rest into two equal parts.
  3. Layer the Ladyfingers: Arrange the ladyfingers at the bottom of a 24 cm cake pan, previously dipped in milk.
  4. Add the Filling: Spread half of the filling over the ladyfingers, followed by another layer of ladyfingers, and then top with the remaining filling with strawberries.
  5. Chill: Leave the cake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Decorate: Decorate with strawberries and the reserved filling.

Summer Ice Cubes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of biscuits
  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 ml brandy
  • 50 g sugar

For the Filling:

  • 1.3 l milk
  • 110 g cornmeal
  • 270 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 g white chocolate
  • 100 g milk chocolate

For Decoration:

  • Chocolate crumbs
  • Grated chocolate

Preparation:

  1. Mix the Soaking Liquid: In a bowl, mix the milk, brandy, and sugar until well combined. Dip the biscuits into this mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a saucepan, combine the milk and sugar. When heated, add the eggs that have been whisked with the cornmeal. Cook while stirring constantly until thickened, then remove from heat. Divide the filling into two equal parts.
  3. Add Chocolate: To the first half of the filling, add grated or chopped white chocolate and stir until melted. In the second half, add grated or chopped milk chocolate and stir until melted. You can also add melted chocolate for easier mixing.
  4. Layer the Cake: Pour the white chocolate filling over the biscuits, then layer more biscuits dipped in milk, followed by the milk chocolate filling.
  5. Chill: Place in the refrigerator to set.
  6. Decorate: Garnish with grated chocolate or chocolate crumbs.
