Hot Dogs in Puff Pastry are a quick and easy quick bite that everyone will enjoy. The dough is soft and tasty, and when baked, it turns golden and crispy.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 150 grams of fresh cheese
  • 4 large spoons of milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 egg white
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation:

There are no special instructions for making dough with these ingredients. Roll it out like you would for stuffed rolls, then place uncooked hot dogs on it (about 10 smaller ones, depending on how thin the dough is rolled out). Roll them up and place them in a pan. Bake until golden brown. I have a strong oven, so I bake them at 180°C for no more than 15 minutes.

Before baking, brush the pastries with a mixture of 1/2 egg white and a little milk. I’ve also tried filling the dough with ham and cheese, but you can use any filling you like.

Enjoy your meal!
