Honey and beer-glazed pork ribs are the perfect combination of sweet and smoky flavors. Dark beer adds a deep, almost smoky flavor, while honey brings sweetness and a touch of caramel.

Ingredients:

  • 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) pork ribs
  • 1 cup (8 oz) dark beer
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the beer, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. Rub the pork ribs with olive oil. Then, generously coat the ribs with the marinade. Let the ribs marinate for at least 3 hours in the fridge, or ideally, overnight.

  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the ribs on it. Pour the remaining marinade over the ribs, cover with foil, and bake for about 1.5 hours.

  4. Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C), and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting the ribs occasionally with the leftover marinade until they form a rich, sticky glaze.

  5. Serve the ribs hot, ideally with roasted potatoes or a crispy salad.
