When joint aches and stiffness appear—especially due to chronic issues like rheumatism or nerve inflammation—gentle, natural remedies can provide soothing relief. Capsicum oil, made by infusing hot red chili peppers in pure olive oil, delivers a comforting warmth that boosts blood flow and eases discomfort.

Ingredients:

  • 10 fresh red chili peppers (preferably hot)
  • 2 cups of cold-pressed olive oil
  • 1 clean 1-liter glass jar with lid

Preparation Steps:

Thoroughly rinse the chili peppers, remove the stems, and finely grind or blend them until you have roughly 1 cup of pepper pulp.

Place the pulp into the glass jar and pour the olive oil on top, ensuring the peppers are fully covered.

Seal the jar tightly and store it away from light in a cool cupboard for about 7 days to let the oils infuse.

After infusion, strain the oil through a fine cloth or sieve to remove solids.

Transfer the infused oil into a clean bottle for storage. The leftover pepper pulp can be refrigerated and used as a spicy cooking ingredient.

Application Tips:
Apply a small amount of the capsicum oil to the areas experiencing pain or stiffness. Massage gently until absorbed. The warming sensation will boost blood flow and ease muscle tension. For added relief, cover the treated area with warm clothing or wraps, especially on legs or back.

Start by using the oil multiple times daily during flare-ups, then gradually reduce to weekly maintenance as symptoms improve. Keep the oil stored in a dark, cool place to maintain its potency.
