Sangria is typically made with red wine, chopped fruit, a splash of liquor, and some sugar—just add friends and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 orange
  • 1 large lemon
  • 1 ½ cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle of red wine
  • ⅓ cup brandy
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • A splash of club soda (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Place 1 cup of berries into a large pitcher.
  2. Add the sliced orange and sugar, then gently mash everything together to release the juices.
  3. Pour in the red wine, brandy, and orange juice. Stir well.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  5. Just before serving, add the remaining ½ cup of berries and a splash of club soda.
  6. Serve over ice if desired.
