Ingredients:
Base Layer:
- 1/2 cup (115g) butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
- 5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup (120g) finely crushed dry cookies (any kind)
- 1/3 cup (60g) chopped Brazil nuts
- 1/4 cup (30g) chopped almonds

Instructions for Base:
Melt butter, sugar, and cocoa powder gently over a double boiler. While still warm, whisk in the egg until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in crushed cookies and nuts.
Line a small baking pan with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the bottom.
Peanut Butter Filling:
- 1/2 cup (115g) butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups (350g) peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 3/4 cup (85g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Beat butter and peanut butter together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy. Spread evenly over the base layer.
Chocolate Glaze:
- 5 oz (150g) melting chocolate (dark or milk)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil (for shine)
Melt chocolate, butter, and oil over low heat. Pour over peanut butter layer and smooth out.
Chill until firm, then cut into 1-inch squares for delicious bite-sized treats.
